I had the privilege to be an exhibitor at the Parents and Kids Fair in Montréal this past month, sponsored by Jean Coutu (Jean Coutu, “The Most Admired Company in Quebec”, is the largest pharmacy chain in Quebec with almost 1,000 stores). During the 4-day event, held at the beautiful Place Bonaventure, we spread the word from our booth that Baby Butz cream is now available in all Jean Coutu pharmacies.

We were all so excited about this new venture that even Jean Coutu pharmacists were endorsing and promoting Baby Butz cream from their own booth! They were personally handing out Baby Butz cream samples to everyone who entered, answering questions and talking to visitors about the product. Lineups began to form with people waiting hours to get their samples and find out more from the pharmacists.

I was extremely fortunate to have Patricia—who lives in Montréal and helped me broker the deal with Jean Coutu— with me to help answer questions and translate in French. I also brought my daughter along to help me, as my grade school knowledge of French wasn’t going to cut it. Though most people smiled politely at my feeble attempts. I was thankful to have two translating teammates to constantly rescue me.

Over the four days in Montréal, we received overwhelmingly enthusiastic responses from attendees, as well as praise and endorsements from the pharmacists. I want to extend a big thank you to Jean Coutu for helping promote Baby Butz cream at their booth. I couldn’t have imagined a better outcome and cannot wait to see the results!
